2007 Quilt Show Challenge

The AQS Ultimate Guild Challenge

Quilt Show - April 27-29, 2007

Theme: Crazy Bag Ladies Unite!

Chair: Chris Zimmerman

Rules for this challenge are as follows:

1. Purchase a gift bag from the Challenge Chair and create a quilt that uses the colors in the bag. You may replicate the bag, or not, but at least 25% of the finished quilt must be comprised of at least four colors from the bag. Preserve the bag in its original condition so it may be displayed with the quilt.

2. Size: Width 30" - 60"; length 30" - 60".

3. Attach a 4" sleeve on the back of the quilt.

4. Attach a label with the name of the quilt and the quilt maker.

Quilting techniques can be by hand, machine, or both. Quilts that have been medium to heavily quilted tend to fare better in competitions such as this.
Quilts are due when all quilts are collected for the 2007 FSQ quilt show.
