Block of the Month 1999-2000

Make one block, win 12. Have a quilt top ready to assemble! Your name goes in a hat once per block contributed.  Designs, colors and themes are chosen so that individual blocks will coordinate easily and each month will tap a different kind of quilting to try to intrigue all of you.

October Means Pumpkins! Drawing to be held a the October 4th meeting. Instructions were in the last Quiltline.

November: Fall Roads Drawing will be held at the November 15th meeting. Instructions in this issue.

Block of the Month: Fall Roads

Road to California BlockThis is the Road to California block. Make one of more of these for the November l5th guild meeting. Your name goes in the hat for each one you submit, and a winner takes all. They will make an interesting quilt because the block is asymmetrical.

We want the result to remind us of the lovely fall colors, so here are the guidelines. You will need a total of 3 fabrics:

 Templates are provided, but of course it will be easy to rotary cut. If you don't know an easy way to make triangles, give one of us a call.
